Branding
Branding was an integral part of daily operations at L&B Apparel. A project assigned to me was a Logo Redesign as well as mock-ups for how to implement the redesigned logo across the company for boxes, clothing labels, business cards, tags, and various marketing collateral. My contributions to this project were the streamlining of the existing Cow Skull logo as well as creating various logo options for the L&B lettering and Cow Skull logo.
Newsletters
Newsletters were designed and sent out daily through MailChimp to a 2,000 member audience to promote deals, sales, and new arrivals. My contributions were made in the formatting and streamlining of the newsletter design process to create themed designs tailored to featured products. Each newsletter was vertically optimized for online and mobile view, with each slide featuring a specific product linked to the website.
Textile Prints
Textile Prints were important for use in clothing, accessories, and other products offered in-house. With a strong emphasis on vibrant colors and western inspired motifs, textiles I designed reflected the fun spirit of western fashion. Each textile print design is repeating vertically and horizontally to be printed on fabrics, trims, and other production materials. Each design has multiple color variations in order to maximize a design’s use.
Social Media & Trade show
At L&B Apparel, social media was one of the crucial points of contact with customers, boutique owners, and western apparel influencers. Managing the L&B Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn was part of my daily task to ensure that brand image and voice was consistent across platforms. Engaging with customer inquiries through direct messaging, posting new product releases, and creating multiple daily Instagram stories were some of the methods used in social media strategy.
Designing marketing materials were annually created to be featured at major apparel trade shows such as the Dallas Market Center Apparel Market, AmericasMart Atlanta, and MAGIC fashion Las Vegas. I designed company advertisements featured in official publications, promotional banners, email announcements, and other printed materials that were featured prominently in high traffic areas within these tradeshows to engage potential buyers.
Daily Instagram Stories
A unique point of community engagement with customers was through daily Instagram stories featuring products, lifestyle images, quizzes, polls, and reposts of influencers and affiliated boutique owners styling L&B clothing.
